What happened to Zango ?

I guess it was only an issue when we were advertising there.

Now that we don't advertise there any more they must not exist right cuzz I have hear no bitching from anyone in a month. The truth is nothing changed, Zango and sites liek it exist weather we advertise with them or not, the next round of people step in to buy the traffic, Nothing absolutely nothing changed, Affiliates of all sites are affected exactly the same. but we have moved onto the next topic du jour, funny people dont learn I guess GFY is really just all about the DRAMA. The Smart bros always told me why do I waste my time, when i could be making money, I guess I am not the smatest tool in the cabinet.

Lars dropped zango because it was not making a profit, if he found something else to help him steal i'm sure he would use it. It was nothing to do with ethics, if it was he would at least not run ads next to CP.

There's still plenty of them. The entire first page of results is filled with threads from just the past few days. People comment when the subject is brought up.

You just need to learn how to use the search feature probably.

Lars....I don't think anybody here is being a hater for fun about this issue.

I can't really believe you are some terrible guy either.

But I think even you can see that the plight of average affiliate webmasters hangs on this issue quite a bit.

You must understand that from our perspective it feels like you are trying to simply pull the rug out from under us and would prefer to do away with the whole affiliate model. I mean, when you can support a site that gives away so much content, what are we supposed to think.

What can we do to make a living at this?

I don't blame you for not wanting to leave money on the table. But is money gained in this manner really worth it in the long run.

It would be so great if you and some of the other big players in the business put your foot down and joined together to eliminate these types of sites, and thereby strengthen this industry. You really do have the power.

Have you actually looked at the torrent links, and read the comments? Did anyone bother to report those links to torrentspy and get them removed? Or if those links were removed would you all lose your whipping post? Seriously. Its not even cp, just cp titles to attract people to download them. And what would they get if they did? Probably drm content with pop ups and adware. Report the links to torrentspy. They have been up for months. If people were really worried about them being CP they would be bugging torrentspy about the links, instead of someone that is advertised on a site by an affiliate. You act like Lars paid for those ads directly. I just signed up and reported each torrent. There are only 3, they have no seeders. I think using CP as a tool to go after aff is worse. Report it get it removed.

It's called doing the right thing Lars. Maybe you have heard of it?

Sure, AFF pulls their ads, another company slides into place. It's a never ending game of whack-a-mole, but you keep chipping away at it and sooner or later something will give. Zango is slowly being pushed back. Napster had their asses handed to them. Positive change does happen, it usually takes industry leaders, movers and shakers to help the process.

You had a good reputation up until recently. Then you completely blew it all to hell and now continue to go down as being a Legendary dirt bag. Your call, because people are not going to stop being dirt bags if you stop. There will always be a new dirt bag behind you waiting to take your place.

It's one thing to embrace new technology. I'm all for that. But funding ILLEGAL sites that steal and give away content for free is crossing the line and there is no justification for it. To personally have a hand in something that is seriously hurting both the online and DVD companies is not something to brag about or be proud of.

Funny cause there was 3 actual links earlier, and now only 2 one has been removed. The other has no seeders, just a dead link, and the other has 3 seeders total. There is no longer any cp there. Unless an 18 year old is a child now. The father daughter one actually SAYS no child porn right on the title, so guess what torrentspy has now checked the links, and verified them to not be cp. Guess its onto the next hope of some affiliate advertising next to cp huh? Go look at your little link again.
