tool for counting blog pages?
is there a tool out there which quickly spiders and counts the amount of backpages on a blog?

Look, I'm just bumping this because I can't think of my next line of code right now, but....
Wouldn't it just be a : select count(*) from [table] [[tables]] where [something] [[..something]] ? Aren't blogs just a matter of database output, thus a query would work? Or are you talking about a remote blog with no DB access, just crawler access?

Edit - couldn't edit due to "hiccup"... I'm guessing you need the latter, of which I don't know off the top of my head, but I'm sure there's a crawler out there that can crawl a regex of uris from a domain, or some shit like that.
