Canadians.....

Isn't this a good time to be buying US dollars and waiting on it for about 2 -3 years ?

Seems like a logical investment to me or am I wrong?

LMAO ... finally it doesn't hurt to actually pay all my guys in USD ... damn for months on end it was like $1.20 conversion here .. now it is like I am getting a little bonus .. but on the other hand .. joins are in USD and it sucks when we're only charging peanuts for sites and then getting it back at almost par .. it used to be great to have exchange rates that would be like a bonus for the join of 20 cents on the dollar .. oh well has it pros and cons ..

I just had to convert a large chunk of change to pay my taxes and it is the WORST time to convert from US->CDN. Absolutely awful, I'm still in tears.

Canadian dollar was worth more than U.S. dollar not too far in the past, it could possibly happen again

Naw, the worst is yet to come.

Soon it'll be at par. And beyond.

We're considering the prospect of charging in Canuck bucks soon.

I was chatting with a retired econmics prof from the university of brandon here in manitoba canada and his theroy is that the US dollar is being delibrately being driven down in value to help over come their huge deficit with foreign countries from importing goods to increase sales on US goods to foreign. He mentioned that the on the foreign exchange market they are selling off US dollars before the price declines which in turns helps to drive the value down. This means you can expect higher foreign products but more US good being sold abroad and north which means lots of moolah for the companies doing so. Thats just his theory, he could be right or he could be wrong.

If I had the extra cash i would definitly be buying some greenbacks as I bet the US dollar will climb back sooner than later

Is this little gem based on your years of life experience?
