I played with joomla for a while. I find the open source systems like that just too quirky for my needs.

Joomla has loads of bad ass plug-ins (modules, mambots) but sadly they may or may not work based on the template you have made or using. :-(

I've only used Joomla out of those and it was way more robust than my needs.

Joomla all the way. But it's a bit tricky at first but when you get used to it. It's a breeze.

It's strange seeing those three content management systems mentioned together like that. Joomla split off from Mambo a few years ago. Since then Joomla is the one to go for out of those two. Nuke (PHP Nuke) is an older CMS that is rather crappy in comparison to other ones out there nowadays. Drupal is a CMS that is a worthy competitor of Joomla, but Joomla is way better.

My vote would have to be Joomla!

Just remember: If you go CMS, make sure you stay totally up to date on security and don't take any chances - there has been more than one major hole in pretty much all of these packages.

Thanks and ya, there are SEF (search engine friendly) components for Joomla. I use one called JoomSEF over on pornsiteinsider.com. All the urls look very search engine friendly.

Joomla is the bomb. I have used it on projects for clients and also my own site. From a design standpoint I feel there is nothing you cannot do with it. Plus there are so many excellent modules and components available for it with more being created literally every day.
