Recording voice into Premiere's time line.
What program should I use if I want to import/record from a mic into adobe premiere's time line? Or into a file compatible with premiere? (AVI, MOV, AIF) On a Mackintosh.

Adobe Premiere Pro can import directly from a mic, at least in the pc version. Or you can record your audio using a mic and any audio app that records. I would capture as a .wav and import the .wav to the editing app.

yup. Goto the audio mixer pick the channel you want to record to. Click the little mic icon and make sure you have your audio hardware selected correctly in preferences. Now on the bottom left corner of the audio mixer area you'll see the red record circle. Click it so its depressed, now click the play button once you have selected the area of your timeline you want your recording to be in. At least in Premiere 2.0 and probably in the new cs3. I tried the demo and it doesnt appear to have a lot of difference.
