Here was the deal ? last week, ?I Believe in Harvey Dent? images appeared on the internet, showing an image of actor Aaron Eckhart looking very?political. The reference, of course, the character in next year?s sequel to Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, in which Harvey Dent (who later becomes Two-Face in the Batman mythos) appears. The gimmick ? the ?campaign? was corrupted. Reportedly from early on the website associated with the promo image, www.ibelieveinharveydenttoo.com was ?hacked,? with Dent?s image appearing more and more defaced as time went on. Finally (and as more and more visitors to the site added their e-mails) the image of a defaced election poster for Dent disappears entirely as visitors watch, replaced by the above, the first official look at Heath Ledger as the Joker from the coming movie. Whether or not the marketing campaign will play into the film?s storyline, connecting the Joker with Dent (or perhaps revealing that the Joker is the cause of Dent?s transformation into Two-Face in the film?s storyline), remains to be seen. The Dark Knight is due in theaters on July 18th, 2008.

I saw he was to play the joker on imdb. Looks like they actually did a good with his appearance.

i'm glad they started this movie series over. christian bale and the whole new direction is sooooo much better than the michael keaton/val kilmer/george clooney bs that they had been putting out

Movie is supposed to be out in a year and they barley got anything resembling a website. Sony was promoting Spiderman 3 more than 2 years in advance. Of course Disney just now in the last few weeks got a Pirates 3 website going.
