Hi guys,

This is a serious techie question...

Does anyone know of a converter to go from standard VGA
to a 1920x1080p HDMI connection?

Thanks!

If such an adapter is avalable (i don't know), it would be very expensive! If your TV supports it (digital signal without HDCP), i would replace the graphics card. Then you would be able to connect the TV with a DVI -> HDMI cable digitally.

Why not just use the VGA input on the TV? VGA will do 1080 fine.

Don't see to many without vga.
Use a vga to dvi then. Those are only about $3 for a converter.

you're confused with dvi-a to vga, there is a lot involved with getting an analog signal converted to digital, much more than a $3 thing

Will that convert take VGA 1920x1080 out and convert it properly to HDMI?
