Making Fonts Appear on a Users System

ok so you make an html doc and at the top of the page it says "yeah check out my html doc" and the font for that text is on that the user doesnt have on their computer... so how do you make it display as the original font you chose when they view it?

if they dont have the font on their system then you dont, you are SOL, only way is not to use text and use an image, this is basic 1stgrade web 101

offer a download of the font on the page.. if they care enough to view it in your font.. they will download and plug it in

no way? there has got to be a way to do this lol like uploading the font file and making the code draw the font display from there instead of the users comp.... right?

you can embed a font with CSS - not sure how a surfers security settings effect it though cuz you are forcing them to download a TTF file.

You can use GD with PHP to create images on the fly with the font and text you want...
