Google AdSense will not accept adult websites as of 5/31 !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talk about perfect timing. conteXaclick is about to officially launch in just a few days. It is my new contextual advertising and publishing site that is very much like Google AdSense (and AdWords), and it's extremely adult friendly.

I have the following categories available for adult traffic: Amateurs, Anal, Anime, Asians, Babes/Solo Girls, BBW, Big Boobs, Celebrities, Ebony, Fetish, Gays, Hardcore, Interracial, Latinas, Lesbians, Mature, Oral Sex, Pornstars, Shemales, Teens, Video, Webcams, & Adult Webmasters.

    Here's the article about AdSense:

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - Ending weeks of speculation, Google on Monday announced it would be implementing a new policy that would disallow adult domains in its AdSense for Domains (AFD) program.

Defining websites as "any domain whose name, content or advertising is lewd, graphic, or profane," Google stated that AdSense customers with adult domains are required to remove them from the AFD program by May 31.

According to an email sent by Google to its customers, the company additionally "will provide amendments to contracts to exclude adult domains from the exclusivity clause."

At press time, Google had not responded to requests for comment, but the email did state that, "[W]e at Google are constantly working to improve the experiences of advertisers, users and AdSense partners. This change brings our AdSense for Domains program more in line with our AdSense for Content program and will also increase the attractiveness of the AdSense for Domains network for advertisers. Greater satisfaction with the AFD network will lead to more advertisers on the network, providing users with a better experience and domain owners with improved monetization."

Although rumors of the impending decision had been circulating on adult forum GoFuckYourself, the news came as a shock to the industry.

"It really took everybody by surprise," commented GEC Media President Greg Dumas, who also owns and manages several large adult domains that received traffic from the AdSense program. "When you hear those rumors, you think, 'Maybe it'll happen in a year, two years.' No one figured six weeks.

"This is a death sentence for a lot of domainers," Dumas went on to say. "It's going to have a twofold effect: All of the people who were buying those ads that the domain traffic was going to?their advertising is going to be affected. They're going to lose a lot of traffic. And, the people who had domains?such as myself?are going to see a drop in revenue."

"It's definitely going to be a major shake-up in the parked-domain industry," said Sevan Derderian, senior account executive at Domain Sponsor, a leading parked-domain monetization company. "A lot of people have invested most recently in some sizeable adult portfolios, and now they're going to be sore about making that choice. There are going to be some repercussions on sales. Now you'll need to look another parking alternative that will take [adult domains]."

Both men predicted that adult-domain holders will bounce back from the setback, however.

"I don't see this as being the end of our business, but it will significantly impact it," Dumas said. "It's such a big marketplace that other people will step up [in Google's place]. Adult traffic is a lot. What I think is that people are going to find an immediate home for their traffic. You just have to hope they optimize and get the same kind of results that Google did."

For his part, Derderian said such a shakedown actually could prove to be a boon for the industry. "It's probably going to be better for people who point their domain traffic to the affiliate programs," he told AVNOnline.com, "because the ones who were pointing traffic to Google and monetizing and getting paid will now have no choice other than to point [traffic] to adult affiliate programs."

Derderian said he predicts Yahoo eventually will follow suit with Google's decision, although he said, "We can't say for sure without the crystal ball."

Yahoo could not be reached at press time.

Dumas also said the development would encourage domain holders to become creative. "I'm a veteran of the adult business, and I've been hit with stuff like this before," he commented. "You just have to step back and square your shoulders and move forward. I think the secret to longevity in this business is your ability to handle situations like this. I mean, if you get kicked in the teeth, you go to the dentist and get new teeth put in and keep chewing."

With conteXaclick here are some example ad units. I have most of the ad unit deminsions as AdSense has, and a few more!

Unless you offer ads on parked domains I would call this thread dated irrelevant spam

Turbo, you have a great layout for your ads, but which quality sites will actually have your ads? And how is quality of traffic charged vs. shit traffic, selection by state, country, and so on available?

Thank you and those are some excellent questions!

conteXaclick is in the final beta stages and will be officially launching very shortly. There is not a ton of traffic in the network at the moment but that will change when I do officially launch. I am currently negotiating with some huge sites for ad space on their sites. Also I have had a number of publishers register today thanks in part to my thread that I was giving away free traffic.

Concerning the quality of the traffic, there a number of anti click fraud measures in place to insure that webmasters are getting real live people that are interested in what they have to offer.

Upon launch I will have the geotargeting capabilities activated and you guys will be able to pick which countries (and even cities!) that you want your ads displayed.

If you guys had any more questions about the program just ask.

Its not so much just geotargeting, its making quality traffic available,
I.E. proxy traffic not counted, clicks not staying at advertiesers site more then 5 - 10 seconds not being counted, and a miriad of other options.

OK first of all this is old news. Some posted this a few weeks ago. Secondly adult has never been allowed on Adsense except for domain parking which affects very few people here. Nice drama you start.

                            adSENSE is NOT adWORDS.

I understand. I have see every trick in the book over the years and that's not to say that nothing will get by me, but it won't get past the measures that are in place, including (my favorite) a transitional gateway page that simply asks the surfer to click on one of three words that match up with the numbers at the top of the page. It's an idiot test, but works wonders. It's fast loading, non intrusive and 100% effective. Even if the drunken surfer clicks on the wrong image, they will be still sent to the destination site, but the advertiser will not be charged for the click!

I don't want to show all my cards because I know all to well that there are people out there that will attempt to defraud the system, but they will find that I'm smarter than your average bear.

I will be divuldging more details on this subject when I launch.

Ya, anyone can sign up as an advertiser or a publisher. If you are a publisher you do have to have at least 60% of your traffic needs to be from the US.

I know that 60% might seem high and I am considering lowering that number, but what I am trying to do is create a network of the highest quality traffic that I possibly can. I can't just let any websites into the network. I am discussing with one publisher about him only displaying the ad units for his US and EU traffic. Of course I will be reviewing the publishers on a case by case basis, but as a rule of thumb for right now I need a majority of your traffic to be from US/CA.

OK Adsense for Domains is not Adsense. It's Adsense for Domains.
The article seems to indicate a warning against those using parked adult domain names for Adsense traffic. So is it the affect on Adwords customers that use Adsense for "content network" keyword targeted traffic - them having less traffic to buy or is it saying that Adsense for Domains is inferring that all adult domains using adsense will no longer make money - that adult adsense targeted adspots are no longer viable. Or is it just affecting parked domain adsense spots...

Please differentiate what you mean by "google adsense will not accept adult websites". Thanks!

Hi Cyndalie. Actually, I am a little confused myself. I knew that Google AdWords has been tightening the noose on adult (especially recently). I am searching around trying to find out more info on what's going down.

Sweet. I'm not sure either if it's a headline ploy or soliciting tacitc or who is trying to be scared off...publishers or advertisers.

conteXaclick is in the final beta stages and will be officially launching very shortly.

As long as you don't accept zango spyware traffic and traffic from torrent sites you can count me in on buying traffic from you.

I can't just let any websites into the network. I am discussing with one publisher about him only displaying the ad units for his US and EU traffic. Of course I will be reviewing the publishers on a case by case basis, but as a rule of thumb for right now I need a majority of your traffic to be from US/CA.

sperate the traffic US / non us and offer different prices for each. If someone only sends you 25% engilsh it is better than nothing (turning them away). Take their non US traffic and pay them less for it and sell if for less.

I can't just let any websites into the network. I am discussing with one publisher about him only displaying the ad units for his US and EU traffic. Of course I will be reviewing the publishers on a case by case basis, but as a rule of thumb for right now I need a majority of your traffic to be from US/CA.
