3c per front/second page click !!!! Oh for the "Good Old Days"
On another forum searching for something and I came across this post in a thread ....
3 cents per second page unique is pretty outrageous...I am doing 3 cents per front page uniques with other programs, how is one supposed to make money with 3 cents per second page unique? Especially when the ratio is less than 1:20..  Now THEY were the days. Ha ha ha ha ha. How times have changed. When were those times ? The thread the post was in was dated February 2000.

I have several sponsors I'm doing >3 cents/first page unique on TGP traffic.
what's your point? even today 3 cents/2nd page unique is shitty, it's less than 1 cent/first page unique. |

Xpics had, if I remember right, 13 cents a click with loads of text links like "Free XXX Passwords" and stuff like this...back in the days when Amex still processed porn and the majority of webmasters used "public domain" content.
