i called up initially a few weeks ago. I believe they wanted upwards to 60k for one, but in reality more like high 50s. this was pre-ordered, before the car could even be seen.

You are getting the coupe or hardtop? Since the supply is so high every dealer (or area) is allocated a limited # of 335i coupe and hardtop. If you find a good dealership that hasn't sold a lot of cars you can get a good deal.
