A huge dust storm just hit us hard! Holy Shit!
------------------------------------- GREATER PHOENIX AREA ...DUST STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHOENIX HAS ISSUED A DUST STORM WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON. STRONG WINDS FROM THUNDERSTORMS OFF TO THE EAST HAVE GENERATED A DUST STORM OVER THE FAR EAST VALLEY. THIS DUST STORM WILL MOVE TO THE WEST INTO THE CENTRAL PHOENIX METRO AREA...AS WELL AS INTO FAR WESTERN PINAL COUNTY THROUGH 5 PM MST. VISIBILITIES LOCALLY DOWN TO ZERO AT TIMES ARE POSSIBLE WITHIN THIS DUST STORM. IN ADDITION GUSTY EAST AND SOUTHEAST WINDS UP TO 45 MPH ARE POSSIBLE.
