ccbill checks and chase bank

today i went to the bank drive thru and deposited a couple ccbill checks the way i have done for the last 9 years.

teller told me over the intercom to please wait.

after about 3 minutes she came back and said that the computer was telling her that "information from the paying bank indicates the checks might not be paid" and they were placing a hold of the funds until 5-7-07.

weird i said, as i have been receiving the exact same type of checks deposited into this bank account since 1998.

anyone else having issues this week, or is my bank's computer system on the blink?

Your bank is fucking with you.

Now, they may have had a communication error, and the default is "when in doubt, say hold for 10 days". So there you go.

i had that problem before its not ccbill its your bank just make sure to tell your bank from now on to put a memo next to every check you deposit that you work with ccbill and you always get checks from them that should help next time
