I've had my differences with Will in the past but I cant believe the amount of shit he gets from this issue.

Anyone who has a fair amount of traffic should pay attention to Will's thread. He is exposing people stealing money from you, plain and simple.
Has nothing to do with a witch hunt, and everything to do with pointing out something that is wrong.
What these companies are doing is stealing traffic, nothing more then that. It's the same as shaving joins, it's taking money out of your pocket. Why would you not want to know who is doing this Phoenix?

Will has indirectly played a large part in effectively forcing some of the largest sponsors to stop stealing from their own affiliates. With the increased awareness to Zango, more webmasters tried it out, thus raising the cost per click dramatically. Sponsors that had been using the system to rob their own affililates for months with little to no competition on click bidding, suddenly had to pay triple for the same clicks and it became cost ineffective for them to continue.
The reason AFF became the brunt of Will's crusade is because they openly admitted to what they were doing and Lars' smug attitude just fueled the fire. Other sponsors chose to remain silent and just take their lumps while AFF became defiant and even called their own affiliates "sheep"
Since this industry isn't able to control Zango, the only alternative was to try and police those within our industry stealing from others. I'm sure ultimately the increased exposure added to Zango's revenue, but it also made it unprofitable for many to continue using their system to steal from others."WTF, on google you can find the answer to every question in human history, EXCEPT how to convert cams..

I think Will's agenda was to make people more aware that malware hurts all of us. I think he achieved that goal.
I didn't agree with his method of singling out one sponsor and trading insults whether provoked or not but he went after the biggest and most vocal sponsor which was a natural choice for a target.
Indeed it was the only choice as all other sponsors who use zango who post on this board remained silent and continue to do so despite Will and others current efforts to to get them to respond.
Don't worry. Nobody cares about zango now that AFF dropped it so you won't see hardly any threads about it anymore as they drop so fast and you don't get too far in a discussion when only one person is speaking.Comment
