Probably. i also feel bad for having to watch all the pointless threads |
speaking to several lawyers in phoenix during the forum, specifically JD - he commented that a federal agent came up to him and said, "thank you for the support you gave to us on the boards".. he mentioned which one he was looking at... but it was clear that the feds not only watch all the webmaster boards but also get into conventions for seminars etc. to see what we are saying.
its how they actually know what the other side is doing and helps them in court. what was clearly stated is that you guys continually brag about how much money your briging in - the feds see that and keep track. eventually someone is going to have their taxes reviewed and your fucked because you bragged about shit. we should be bragging instead of how we are on the front lines of free speech / rights. |

God Bless, The Federal Business of Interrogation..

As soon as Gonzales and co. get the boot, they will hopefully realize that they're wasting resources and tax payer money when they should be scouring the fucking al qaeda/islamic forums.

It?s an interesting question when you consider that Western companies use sweatshops to manufacture goods while sweatshops remain illegal in the states where these companies are located. |

It's not my opinion. One of the attornies at The Phoenix Forum said that foreign webmasters doing business in the US are subject to our law. Ad hominem only shows the weakness of your position. |
"Translated from Latin to English, "Ad Hominem" means "against the man" or "against the person."
An Ad Hominem is a general category of fallacies in which a claim or argument is rejected on the basis of some irrelevant fact about the author of or the person presenting the claim or argument."... http://www.nizkor.org/features/falla...d-hominem.html |

But, it goes way beyond just the net. For example, US citizens can be prosecuted for travelling to foreign countries to have sex with minors, even if the sex acts are not illegal in the country where they take place. Making clothing is not generally considered to be a hated industry on the short hit list of law enforcement. Adult ---surprise -- IS. Ours is an interdependent globally connected multi jurisdictional world. Wake up to that reality, or prepare to pay the piper for his lullabies.. |
oh, come on now, the feds are just looking for some free porn

Obviously there are considerably less "foreign webmasters" doing business in the US - there is no benefit and more a liability than anything - so no biggie. The stupid claims you previously made that foreign webmasters are subject to US law because they do business with the US is beyond comment. |

For the purposes herein, "with the US" and "in the US" are the same thing. OK, let's get a real legal opinion, and let's see which one of us is "stupid." Put up --or shut up. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh |

Don't tell me... can't wait to hear what countries you can fuck kids and it's actually legal :1orglaugh Even heard of the Convention for the Rights of the Child?? The only country on the planet who cannot offer their children the same rights under this charter is the US - bad example using child abuse to excuse your stupidity on international jurisdictions. |

Do you check compliance with the laws of China, Canada, Germany, UK, ad nausea when you trade with those countries??? |
If any feds reading this know how I can get a gig reading GFY all day, please contact me.
A direct link to the OPM announcement would be great. kthxbye! |
The IPs are mainly from the Oval Office.

I should really add that quote to my sig - "According to the braincell of DaddyHalbucks - For the purposes herein, "with the US" and "in the US" are the same thing." Like this idiot has one clue :1orglaugh :1orglaugh PS And what US law are you quoting from exactly?? *lol* |
Let me re-phrase this, to be 100% clear, so your pea brain can understand it for sure: if you are doing business "with" the US, you are deemed to be "in" the US as far as your obligations to comply with US online pornography laws are concerned. I imagine the same legal principles apply to online gambling.

When are you in compliance with the laws of any other countries when you take a signup from them?? Never. It's based on the principle of "international jurisdictions", but doubt you have a clue on that either. Odd that all other countries understand this concept which has been in existence long before the US was ever heard of, but a few stupid American's don't quite get it yet :winkwink: OK.. On gambling... another bad example, and where the US assumes much which does not exist, - and in the process is currently in violation of WTO rulings. Can you get your house in order first before commenting on other nations? Thanks :winkwink: |
