I agree with this. You have to take shots a different projects some will make it some wont. I usually have a much better ratio, like 3:4 do good. A message board started by someone who seems to have pissed off many many people is kind of a head scratcher to me, maybe it is the crabs.

for some its part of their lives, their every day rituals and habits.

I dont care what anyone thinks of me. My success speaks for itself and those who know me and have done business with me know i follow through and make shit happen.

Im not one to sit around and wait for a pile of cash to fall in my lap. I go get it and work for it.

thats why i have so many haters. because I made something of myself and rub it in their faces. and those that keep trying and keep trying but cant seem to grasp they are just doing the same thing over and over again but in yet just a slightly differnt way is why they are failing. and im the scape goat because they cant figure out how some white trash scum like me made it this far and have the things i have.

and before anyone brings up the fact i had a helping hand. I did. A big whoping $6k and a programmer.

there were a few key people in my company that got me here, and look where they are. one is running his own program making momney hand over fist. rock on Cory from freakbucks.com

some are stoill with epic from day one, and some wanted to leave the nest and do their own thing.

it just astounds me the stupidity in this business and the fact eveyone points the finger instead of blaming themselves for their failuers.

I accept mine, pick up the pieces and rebuild and move on.

I started out of my walk in closet. It actually was a nice set up. All my operation was packed in there. I would have girls or friends over I shut the door, didn't have to hide anything and no one know what was going on. I was given no money, i had very very little help. I didn't even start talking to other people online till I was 4 years in the business. I've worked and earned every penny I have without ever cheating anyone or stealing from them. I don't have anything to prove to anyone.

I don't care what people think of me and I don't need anyone's help to make money. It's a nice luxury to be like this. A lot of people here have to kiss ass. Some do it because it is their customer who spends a lot of money with them, or their boss, or someone they think is cool and they hoping for something for free. I can be straight and tell people what I think. No bullshit, just honesty. I have nothing to lose.

The problem you have is it seems you are here more for entertainment than business. I know you enjoy picking fights, seeing how many people you can upset, etc... IMO it is a little counter productive to use this place as a source of revenue but at the same time see how many people you can get upset and bent out of shape.

I agree with everything you said in your reply above, and I think the only difference between you and me is that I don't go out of my way to try to piss off as many people as possible.

Some good points although I can't speak to the sponsors you site as I haven't worked with 'em. To be fair to Epic, they are going through a major reorg with new tools and so on. Signup to gain access and take a tour of the webmaster area, then comment. No big deal if you don't like what you see, just don't push the product then.
