yeah... Zango is like Google search ads.
there is a difference between people going to Google to look for something and Cams.com bidding on a URL like sleazydream.com to pop a window over Sleazydream.com with cams.com ads to steal surfers from sleazydream.com.
Just because some kid downloaded a screensaver or shitty game WITHOUT PROPER CONSENT (i.e. he is a minor - and all zango content pretty much targets minors) - as they have been fined for already and refused to change their practices, does not make it ok to screw your friends and others.
Too bad the potentially most influential companies in porn, as always, continue to be the most corrupt.Comment

This is actually the abridged version. We probably could have ran four pages. There were some very interesting stories that had to be cut because of our space constraints. The entire version should be online in a couple days.
Lars is one interesting dude, and despite what all of the haters out there might want you to believe, a good guy.

What the haters want you to believe? More like what Lars has posted himself and admitted to, we just point it out.
Not like we have to make up anything, we just post the facts, and in most cases its quotes from Lars himself.
So what constitutes a " good guy " to you.
if your are best friends with someone for 20 years but he only slept with your wife for 6 months, and all the rest of the times he was a great friend, is he a good guy ?
your neighbor is friends with you for years, but was short on cash so he breaks in and steals $1000 from you. Is he still a good guy ?
Your business partner is nice guy, friendly, good friends, you find out he took 20K out of the business account last month, didn't tell you and wasn't going to tell you. Is he still a good guy ?
Some of you people really have low standards for " good guys ".

Zango was recently busted for the issue of "consent" being that their content either mostly targets under age kids or that installs are being misrepresented by webmasters.
so... saying that users "consented" to recieve popups when they just got a $3,000,000.00 fine from the FTC for that exact issue is a little rediculous.
but hey... who cares about the truth or actual FACTS from some "hater" who isn't in the Bro Club, isn't running a "top notch program" and probably isn't a "stand up guy"

So AVN approves of stealing sales from affiliates, and traffic from the rest of the community.
When a webmaster sent traffic to AFF, AFF would use zango to pop a fullscreen AFF page with their own in-house affiliate code, thereby stealing the sale. Same goes for all their sites, Alt would get a Alt popup with house codes.
All of their main sites were targeted this way, and this makes him a good guy?
Oh, but those were 'adware collisions' and only represented 5% of traffic overall so it's ok with AVN?
Nice stance for AVN to take.

Just remember something... AVN runs AVNads / Adbrite... which is often the "other" sponsor on so many "questionable copyright or business concept" sites right next to AFF and cams.
