Your friend is pretty foolish to be so open as to letting you just get him whatever steroids in whatever form and dosages that you happen to get your hands on. You have to take a certain amount for a certain amount of time and then take other substances after your cycle that comprise what is commonly called post-cycle therapy so that your body will re kick-start it's own testosterone production. It's a tricky business to do it effectively to build muscle and end up without serious side effects including general health and also libido problems, so one shouldn't just take these things willy nilly without a lot of research, blood tests and advice from knowledgable experts.

A first time steroid user, doing a cycle of Sustanon 250 and Winstrol (for example) for 6 weeks, ramping up, peaking and ramping back down might expect to gain 10 pounds of lean muscle. Most if not all of that will stay after you go off.

So now, according to your fucking whacked out stupid logic, this 10 pounds of muscle is going to cause overstressing in ligaments and joints and cause pain for a long time after. However, if the same person spent 4 months in the gym, working hard and gained more or less the same muscle mass that it wouldn't have the same effect?

Just FYI for those who haven't tried the stuff, your balls DO shrink, BUT...
- Its due to artificial testosterone being added into your body. Your testicles do not have to produce as much, hence they shrink. And they only go down like 25%
- You take post cycle anti-estrogen pills to prevent bitch tits.
- Your balls go back to normal size after a month or two.
- Your dick looks proportionately bigger when your balls are smaller.
- ONLY testosterone based steroids cause this. Acetates usually do not and do not have to have a post-cycle. They also tend to have far less sideeffects

Actually I know someone who had serious liver problems off just 1 cycle. I'm not saying the majority have a problem with doing 1 or 2 cycles but there are odd cases were people can die off even 1 injection. Long term , 1 or 2 cycles probably won't do anything. But for the record, there's a lot of bad stuff out there also, so it just takes 1 wrong dose and you're in the hospital. I know friends who've taken a lot of cycles, good luck to them, they know they probably knocked off a GOOD 5-10 years off their life. The problem is, a lot of people won't just do 1 cycle.

Let's use your own logic for a bit:
2-3 beers every night isn't going to ruin your liver, will it?
But 2-3 6-packs of beer every night eventually will.

The same goes for steroids.
First, injectable steroids will never fuck up your liver. The liver issues are from the alkylation process used on the pills.
Second, a little bit of oral steroids arent going to ruin your liver, either.
But take a LOT of steroids (like a lot of beer) will fuck it up.

Trust me, I know this first hand. I did do damage to my liver by taking a lot of Anadrol and a lot of NSAIDS (which are just as harmful). Thankfully my liver has recovered.
