DWB 04-02-2007 10:57 PM

I never met him, but your videos with him always put a smile on my face and brightened my day. He lived a glorious life and shared the love with everyone around him. What more could you want in life?

My condolences to you and your family.

DirtyDanza 04-02-2007 11:10 PM

hal if you need anything at all please let me know

wtfent 04-02-2007 11:27 PM

Watched those videos of you dancing with your grandpa. I must say you are one cool cat Hal. You must have got that from your grandpa. A lot of men would would be afriad to dance like that with their grandson or their grandpa but not you guys. Its funny I do not really know you but I will never forget that video that you showed of your grandpa last year, he had so much energy for his old age.

polish_aristocrat 04-02-2007 11:31 PM

very sorry to hear this :(

DeadFidel 04-02-2007 11:44 PM

I laughed and then cried at the same time.

Never have I read a life to death situation written as well. The love flows to peace in your post.
Within our industry it sometimes becomes difficult to differentiate. This wonderful scope of life
has enlightened me, thank you.

Expo_Vids 04-02-2007 11:51 PM

What a great human being. Looks like he is helping people even after he has passed on. :)

dougeetx 04-02-2007 11:51 PM

Sorry to hear of your loss, Halcyon! I would be honored to host your vid on VideoSlacker.com . It's not a plug! It's just respect!

I am sorry for your loss, I used to watch his videos and he was a good man. I am sure his conciousness is now experiencing a different part of our multi-layered reality.

sicone 04-03-2007 02:39 AM

Sorry to hear about this Hal, I know you and your grandpa were close.

I imagine he would be proud of the way you have chosen to celebrate his life rather then mourn the loss of it..

All my best to you and yours.

TGPturnkeys 04-03-2007 02:43 AM

Hal, I'm sorry about your loss, but surely hes in the best place now!

emthree 04-03-2007 03:06 AM

Best wishes.
He seemed like a cool guy. RIP.

Sarah_Jayne 04-03-2007 03:18 AM

I am sorry to hear that but he is still very much alive through you and the rest of your family. When my grandfather died, somebody who lived a lot like your grandpa, I thought I would be much more upset in the long term than I am. I was VERY sad and I miss him everyday but barely a day goes by when I don't hear his words in my head or something he taught me doesn't come to the surface. With six grand kids that he touched the same way he will never be totally gone...I suspect the same will happen in your life.

Bossman 04-03-2007 03:31 AM

Thank you for the glimpses of Grandpa Caleb - I really enjoyed them!

Gentle_Ben 04-03-2007 04:25 AM

Hal so sorry to hear man. You've got a great attitude about it though. I'm sure hes going on to bigger and better :) Seems to have been an accomplished man. btw, great photo with MLK!

A digital hug for you buddy

But I should clarify that I am not distraught.
There is nothing tragic about the passing of a 94 year old. I held his hand as he left this plane. It was as beautiful a life and death as a soul could hope for.

I feel amazingly blessed.
Thanks for the love.
((HUG))

Wow, thats a great way to think about it

cherrylula 04-03-2007 05:38 AM

My condolences to you and your family. Sounds like his spiritual legacy will live on to inspire people for a long, long time.

LadyMischief 04-03-2007 05:44 AM

Wow Hal... I had really come to adore Grampa Caleb like so many others who have been following the hug nation for so long. He was an inspiration and his spirit lives on forever in the people he inspired. He lived a full life, so his passing although sad for those of us left behind, takes him now another place where I'm sure he is happy to be. My condolences to you at this time because I know it's so hard losing someone who's been such a part of your life, but I know that instead of sadness you are going to celebrate his life as he would have wanted. My life is better for him having touched it, even if just watching him through your videos, Hal. I can only imagine the richness he brought to your life.

SomeCreep 04-03-2007 05:47 AM

Sad, sorry to hear that man.

Ravage 04-03-2007 06:54 AM

Sorry for you loss bro. Grampa Caleb looked like one wicked-fly dude.

Mr. Romance 04-03-2007 07:04 AM

When I saw the video that you posted sometime ago with him on GFY, it was clear where you got your Extraordinary personality of both kindness and greatness. He is more than proud to still have you on this earth changing lives. Best wishes to him and you and your family.

Regards,

Gerard

Tanya_AWP 04-03-2007 07:12 AM
