2k a Day TGP...sponsor reports ~ 10 uniques a day WTF?! - GoFuckYourself.com

Hi guys!, I have a TGP getting around 2k hits a day (not much but constantly growing..) ... 70% going to galleries and 30% to trades ... my sponsor is Dollars4babes..... and the sponsor reports that I'm only sending around 10-20 hits a day!!! WTF?! is anybody else experiencing something similar with this sponsor?

I'm also using twistys in another site which gets around 500 hits a day with the same settings (trades and script).. yet twistys reports over 150 hits a day!.

Wa dya think?

Some programs show you 1st page hits, some 2nd page hits, some join page hits, some show you whatever they feel like showing that day.

You said on another site,
Check your traffic sources on the site in question. If it's a lot of paid traffic you just may not be getting a lot of join page hits or click thru's.

If you are getting 2k a day and your at 70/30 than 1400 should be going to galleries and you gotta figure a small % of those will actually click on the galleries.

Well, I'm using the same traffic sources for both sites (traffic trades ~ 230% production ... and ... purchased traffic from traffic holder)

The only difference is that the smaller site uses twistys and gets less traffic and yet the CTR is apparently way higher

man, you must share your secrets, are you sure that's not hits to the FHGs? coz I get like 10% ctr on my blogs that have banners on top of every post, and a few on the left and one on top and ..... you get the gist

why is that crazy? it mean 2k uniqs come to your site, but only 20people click through to some link, thats normal isnt it?

Yes it's pretty normal, some peeps have no idea, expecting a 25% clickthrough from tgp traffic. Newbs.....

2k/day on a skim tgp is very very small. I send over 150K to galleries from my skim tgps and see 7500-10K from sponsor stats... people tend to think that they can start some tgps and start seeing the checks roll in... it is simply not the case.

well unless the sponsor counts FHG hits there probably isnt anything wrong with the number.. as the 20 might be what visit the sponsor site.. not really something that 70/30 can show you..

lol 2k isn't enough traffic to figure anything out on a TGP. Maybe if it were clicked traffic from a blog or something. But 2k a day on a normal TGP I'd say you are lucky to get 150 to the sponsor.

change sponsors. So far, the only sponsor that shows me ALL the clicks in my galleries is Epiccash.

You're not sending 2K to the galleries. To figure the CTR you figure how much traffic went to galleries, then how many clicked through to the sponsor. By the way you said a third sponsor on another TGP, why don't you use another sponsor on the same TGP? Give you surfers something different to look at, than the same stuff from the same sponsor.

That's why I said you were lucky to get that if you were. btw you can't expect to compare a CTR from a 150k a day site to a 2k a day site.. just nothing to compare between the two..

Mmm... good idea ... the only problem I'm trying to avoid is having too many sponsors in one TGP. I remember the first niched tgp I opened had something like 20 sponsor on it ... and the traffic was not that good.. so after a while I ended up having 1 sign up for each sponsor

... which I couldn't cash out because the minimum payout amount was something like $100 for each one. I figure if I had sticked to 1-2 sponsors I would have received a good amount of sign ups on those 2 .. hence... I would have gotten a couple of "ok" paychecks...

How many sponsors would you use on a niched tgp with just a main page getting around 2k a day and growing?

I could see how 20 sponsors with that type of traffic could be bad. But I'd say to at least use a few. Keep it in the same niche as your TGP, but I don't see a issue with having 3 sponsors or maybe even 4.

it's correct.

let's do the maths:

2k hits, 70% to galleries, that makes 1.4K to galleries

with 1% CTR gallery rate, which is not uncommon, you have 14 clicks to sponsor.

Want better CTR, list better galleries.

1 to 2% is pretty normal.

Tgp traffic is mostly looking for free and they get it you're giving it away yourself.You have to target better.

sounds pretty close to right... 70% to galleries of 2k... is 1400 peeps to galleries... you figure a click through of 1-3% to sponsor and you are hovering in that range of 10-20 hits a day. Looks like your click thru to the sponsor might be in the more 1% range.
