![]() Okay... Why the hell are some domains failing for me if they are capitalized, but not if they are lowercase? I know internal URLs are case-sensitive on some servers, but the *domain*... Whuthefuck?

Nor have I... but for the last couple of weeks, I have had to re-type a number of domains that were capitalized... And if its capitalized in the code to a form on a web page, I can't submit. Silly.

Is it just a "domain" or does it include a path? Apache cares about case and IIS does not. For instance:
On Apache a file named here.JPG can only be referred to as here.JPG, here.jpg will fail. On IIS you can referece the file as HeRe.JpG if you want and it will work.

Does it happen for you with all domains, or just some?
I've seen customized webservers set up to do stuff like that to mess around with search engine traffic, but it shouldn't effect normal domains. |

I am talking about changes that only affect a domain's capitalization. Take a URL that works, and capitalize any letter in the domain. Doesn't happen with all domains... but, for instance, www.Yahoo.com doesn't work but www.yahoo.com does. Weird.

Yahoo.com seems to work for me...but I think that it's the browser that put it in lowercase automatically....still this is weird...
