buying an ipod....
I want a 60-80gig ipod. I don't care if it's video or not, I just want it for mp3s. What should I expect to pay and where is the best place to buy it? I don't want to wait on eBay (unless it's buy it now) because I want to buy right now. Any advice? thanks

Where do you live? iPod prices here in England are pretty much the same wherever you go. My gf got a 4gb Nano at B&H Photography in New York for $200, which is a fair bit cheaper than we can get them here.

I'm not going to put videos on it, only mp3s. That's why I think the 60gb will be a better choice. The 80gb has a brighter screen which I'm sure is great for videos, but since I'm only using it for mp3s I should go with the 60gb because the brighter screen drains your battery quicker.

I have a 20gb older one .. I have tons of music on it and only used about 10gbs. if your only going to use it for music just get a smaller one. it will be dirt cheap. I use my PSP for movies and love it. but if you travel a lot go for the Video .. |

I have a normal iPod (non video), but was thinking about getting the vid one. I'll have a few longs flights this year, but can't decide whether to get a PSP instead, and just keep my iPod that i have just now aswell...

I like my Zune a lot ($250). It's only 30 gigs though, but can be modded with a bigger HD.

I just bought a 30G iPod and love it. I have vids, pics, and music on there. The nanos look and feel like they are cheap and break easy. I used to have a mini and that thing was better quality then a nano.
