I coverted AVI to WMV with videocharge and the quality turned to shit
well the size is like 1/3 but the quality is smuch shitier I can use that for the crappier quality vids for modem users.... how do i create a wmv with really high quality?

Check google for 'videosplitter' I'm pretty sure there's a few affordable ones, I think I've registered 2 different, for they can't all cut the same formats. They're very quick and nice..although I haven't used one in years.

regarding splitting videos? I don't do that anymore.
I don't think the results for 'videosplitter' in google re-render anything. Not 100% sure on that. They probably have free trials, give them a go and check it out for yourself.

It all comes down to a little science, best way is to keep playing around with really short clips until you find the combination that works best for you
