The quickest way is to just use the "Wizard".. I haven't been using it that long myself yet so not sure if you can automate things or not.

I've been taking some long 5-10 minute clips and just set it up to split it in 16 second pieces and then walk away for a few minutes while it works.. Takes 20 seconds to set that up. Took me about 4-5 initial tries to get settings I was happy with.

Check google for 'videosplitter' I'm pretty sure there's a few affordable ones, I think I've registered 2 different, for they can't all cut the same formats. They're very quick and nice..although I haven't used one in years.

..oh yeah, that doesn't help you with videocharge really..but if you need another way to automate cutting the clips..

regarding splitting videos? I don't do that anymore.

I don't think the results for 'videosplitter' in google re-render anything. Not 100% sure on that. They probably have free trials, give them a go and check it out for yourself. :)

It all comes down to a little science, best way is to keep playing around with really short clips until you find the combination that works best for you

You should post on the videocharge board, they seem to answer the queries in a timely matter.
