It would not be legal in California to shoot a person for breaking into your home unless he is displaying a deadly weapon. It used to be legal many years ago in this State and still is in some states.

My question is, why does anyone bother to talk to this loser. I guarantee, that from the way he talks, that you would not talk to him in the "real" world as he has all the markings of one of society's Grade A rejects.

I don't agree with everything Labret says. Like most of you, I believe that for the most part, Labret really is a racist or has racist tendencies. I'm not going to go indepth of why I believe this but I do.

By the same token, I think that he often raises valid points, and usually supports them with evidence. Sometimes he is right and sometimes he is wrong (he's only human ya know).

I agree with what he has argued in his recent threads. Woohoo, maybe even racists have their 15 minutes of clarity, when they actually have a legitimate position on an issue. Well, Labret certainly has one on the topics that we've been discussing here.

The bitter sweetness of our freedoms here in the United States is that it often involves hearing opinions and views that we disagree with. Many things that we hear simply make the average person of good conscience ill. However, as a citizen I would rather keep this right so that someday when I need to be heard I can do so without the threat of violence or persecution. I'll take a little bit of the bad so that I can always preserve my freedom of expression. Mean people suck but violent people suck even more.
