CLICKCASH closed my account :(

I made this post last year about a letter I got from clickcash
gfy . com/showthread.php?t=644462

Then last month I got another letter:

Dear ClickCash Webmaster,

Your account, referenced in the subject of this e-mail, (as well as any
related
accounts) consistently score in the lowest-performing decile in each of
our
performance-measurement statistical measurement categories that are
used to
assess the quality and satisfaction of the customers you have
introduced
to the service.

In our experience, such substandard performance metrics are usually the
result of either a.) substandard quality of traffic, or b.) use
of advertising approaches and marketing messages that are inconsistent
with the product or service advertised.

As such, we have elected to close your ClickCa$h account. Thank you
for
trying out ClickCash. We regret that your traffic and/or customer
referrals
were not a good fit for ClickCash websites.

Wishing you best of luck in your future webmaster endeavors,

Sincerely,

Clickcash Support

I never changed the way I promoted because I figured it was a standard letter, I promote clickcash the way most people do, as a free membership. The shitty thing is all the content I was using was clickcash chat-host content and it took me a long time to collect it all and it worked very well.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Is there anyway I can get back in? I loved clickcash.

To anyone who has ever left clickcash, where did you go? None of the cam sponsors seem to measure up to clickcash with their:

1. $40 per free signup
2. ability to link to join page
3. weekly payments (not as important)

Any help is appreciated Thanks.

I never advertised them, but for me AWE (see sig) does very well, you got several niche cam sites to promote and awesome advertising tools (live feeds, performer voter, recorded shows, teaser videos, xml feeds, webcam stills and the usual iframe/geo-targetting ads)

because none of them have those first 2 qualities that clickcash has

1. good paying FREE signup
2. ability to link to join page

You need Webcams.com

They pay good on free sign ups and have great tools to promote them with.

Perhaps that is the problem. For some reason your traffic, the words you use, the way you link to ifriends, etc... something it getting your people to signup for the site but then they don't spend money.

Most cam companies pay you a % of your sales or pay you ONLY after the person buys credits (spends money). So when you try these other companies out and don't make much money, than that is just more proof that your traffic, for whatever reason doesn't spend money no matter what the program.

No one can blame an affiliate program for not wanting to lose money on an affiliate. Most will switch you from a free pps signup model to a % deal. Unfortunetly clickcash doesn't have a % deal so they have no choice but to close the account.

This happens in a few cases, but of all the people I know promoting them and the ones that referred me when they signed up this doesn't happen often at all. So it works for most people, I guess it can't work for everyone.

BTW their join page has very little info on it and most might not know it is even for ifriends. If you have things confusing on yoru site and say for example they click a picture on yrou site and go to ifriends' signup page and signup they might have thought they were signing up to your site. Little things like that example can make a huge difference.

I had promoted them for years without any problems. Then I had to get a new account and the traffic I had was only part of what I had before... A couple months in I got that first letter. I wrote them back and "bitched" since I had been promoting them for years and also let them know that the traffic I currently had wasn't going to remain the way it was, I had a lot more quality traffic in the works and Stacy responded back. I worked on improving my traffic with more SE type, reducing any possible "confusion" type wording etc. I never got another message from them. That was 2.5 years ago.

Maybe you could try emailing them and ask if you could have your account reinstated on a 6 month basis or something and you'll work on improving your traffic.

If you still want a different program, maybe try mtree/streamate.. It's up to about $35 on a free trial. You CAN link to some different pages although I haven't checked if you can link to the join page. Slightly different setup though as you can link to live girls for free chat which can be effective. Quite a number of other programs use streamate but typically pay out less so go with mtree for the higher payout. Over the last couple months I've been slowly adding some of their LIVE javascript "iframes" on some pages. To date I only send maybe 2-3 hits a day, but I have got a couple signups already.

At least they send you a polite letter these days....... They used to just close your account and tell you to piss off if you dared to ask where all your money had gone.

I suppose that is some sort of improvement.

Of course not promising what they cant deliver would be best.

Do a search and you will see that you are far from being alone. There are about 100 + stories like this.

For free you can try: MoneyTree

Otherwise another option that's still affordable and can be pitched as good value to the surfer: AWEmpire

Every situation is a little different. If his traffic is high quality and they don't know what they just signed up for but they are the type that will spend money than he may be able to get away with doing things that way.

I would say in most cases if you don't explain to the people what they are signing up to and just link to an ifriends joing page 75% of the people will think they are signing up to something else. The signup page doesn't give much information on it at all. I think this is where a lot of people run into problems they just throw out the signup page and the surfer thinks he is signing up to something else, he gets into ifriends and says " wtf is this" and then leaves.... but you still get paid. If that happens 1 too many times, than your account gets closed because they are losing money off of you.

Same thing happened to me. I promoted them for a couple of months on a few blog posts. Didn't overhype anything, simple text to sign up for webcams/ girl clubs. Was getting some decent SE for Taylor Stevens cam girl too. Made I think $500 or so, then got that letter. I responded asking how I could change things around and improve things. Never heard back. Took their links down, got my last check and moved on. Looks like it could have been a great seller too, but I guess they weren't doing well on their end. Oh well.

Hate to say it, but I'm not surprised. They are an okay program and all, but they are getting old. Their program is no longer at the top anymore and lots of people are tired of Ifriends. Your traffic probably has seen much better webcam sites out there.

I did try again a few times - but there are only so many times you can get your fingers burnt before you give it up as a bad idea.

Its great watching those $40's mount up - but if you never get the money it seems a waste of time.

If you like watching your stats mount up thats great, but some actual cash in the bank account looks even better.

what was the name of the account you claim they closed on you and kept the money ?

If they closed your account and kept your money ( i think you said $700) in a previous thread, why did you " try them a few more times"...

The way you make it sound " if you like watching stats mount up but never get the money" etc... you make it sound like each additional time you signed up you made sales and were not paid on those as well... is that the case ?

How so?

I don't know of any cam site that has more models on live then they do. I don't know of any cam site that has 1/2 the features that ifriends offers. I don't know of any cam affiliate program that pays out more to it's affiliates.

I missed who passed them up, care to share ?

I always got the first check - but you know that, because you have read the 100's of threads just here on GFY about ClickCash not paying.

$40 per free sign is great, I cant resist it - but, just look at the 100's of threads here that say you wont get paid and you will see the true story.

Its almost beyond comprehension that Will would slate a competitor, and you guys 'bite' every time.

"Will is such a nice guy"

I didn't have all of the same sources available to me at the time so that's why my traffic decreased. I had to build it back up again.

For most of the niches I promote, ImLive has the same and sometimes more models live than ifriends. It's even better when you take away the girls from ifriends that don't actually fit the niche but "spam" themselves thru the network.

Like? Currently the only thing really that iFriends has that the others don't is the HD stuff. Even if they have more features, their interface etc. is slow and old and getting older as each day passes.

IMO ImLive will become the #1 cam site (if they're not there already). With their theme weekends, contests and other things, it's far more friendly and appealing to a surfer and members. iFriends is "cold" compared to ImLive.

Can't say. The $40 from iFriends is nice, but ImLive has been paying out 3x that so even though one is per free signup and the other isn't, it CAN work out to about the same. I've been also trying to get some revshare members on ImLive. In the long run, getting some good ones there could pay off far better than iFriends.

At this point it comes down to who I believe has long term viability and IMO it's simply not iFriends. I'm continuing to promote it alongside others but I've built things such that I can pull the plug within minutes if I needed to.

Did you mean to say "never got the first check"? Did you ever sign and fax in the agreement form they request before payout?

Back in 98 when they stole my first money you didnt need to do that - the second and (more fool me) the third time I did.

My partner at the time lost about $3,500 btw.

Does that explain my dislike for ClickCash and all who represent it BTW?

Well once they canned your first account for a TOS violation, your future accounts were all doomed once they figured out who you were. You were paid out your first check on subsequent accounts until they figured out you had already been banned and were trying to circumvent the banishment.

$40 per free sign is great, I cant resist it - but, just look at the 100's of threads here that say you wont get paid and you will see the true story.

Its almost beyond comprehension that Will would slate a competitor, and you guys 'bite' every time.

"Will is such a nice guy"
Damian, you NEVER answer the questions, you just make up bullshit lies and say shit like " go do a search".

You just posted that you keep making new accounts and they kept closing them down and kept your money. So why would you keep doing that? makes no sense. If you had your first account close, money kept no reason given why make a second, third, etc... account. ???? SO what was the name of the account(s) that were shut down and kept your money. Will you tell me so i can pass it along to them and find out 1. if you are full of shit or not (i am thinking yes) and 2. if you are not, I will help you g et your money. What you got to lose if you telling the truth?

What TOS violation?

If CC provided banners on an AVS site are a violation then WTF can you do?

BTW - I dont htaccess any of my AVS sites - before you try that. I have gone through this with Will a few times - if it was just me then ok - but the 100's (do the search) that have the same story makes me smell a big rat.

Sure how many of these features the other cam sites have but ifriends has:

fan clubs
HD
2 way cams
cams that move
multiple angle cams

thats all i can think of off the top of my head. They are always the first to come out with stuff then you see other sites add it like imlive with the fanclubs.

I enabled the unique view and it tells me there are 1400 cam host on, i counted about 800 on imlive. they definetly gaining groud. So much for Lars being #1 with cams, looks like he just got bumped to 3rd, or worse.

As far as what they pay out to affiliates I really don't think anyone in cams comes close. If i had to guess I would say they pay out easy 3 - 5 million a month. It could be a lot more. If imlive is payout that much more power to them.

No doubt the competition is gaining more market share, I don't think they have been over taken yet though. I think they will be around for many years to come, to some people the fact that a company has been around for a while is a bad thing, personally I feel safer with someone with a long track record and that has proven stability. Even if they slipped a few spots in the future, doesn't mean they are going to close down any time soon.

yeah when i stick my finger in an electrical socket and it zaps the shit out me, i do it a 2nd and 3rd time,

Sorry, but i don't think anyone will believe that they " stole " money from you and $3,500 from one of your friends but yet you opened a second account and wanted to try again. they stole from you again so you made a 3rd account ( 3rd time a charm)... I believe you smell a rat allright. You posted in another thread you still have an account open and i believe you said you stil lsend traffic to them " you like to keep your option open" as you put it in the other thread.

So what were your account names that were closed down? why do you keep avoiding this question? Lets find out what they have to say about it. If you are not lieing I can help you get your money back.

Actually, I did give those details - you never replied (Sound like a familiar CC story?).

FACT: ClickCash will pay you $40 PS, but only if your traffic converts at a good rate. Use any other Cam site and they will take the responibilty of making that traffic pay and pay you what they told you they will pay.

Will, tell me that I am not telling the truth...... I dare you.

ClickCash killed my account, as well as a whole bunch of other webmasters accounts, a couple years ago. Their history of killing mass accounts without reason or remorse is legendary.

I actually gave you my details twice when you where trying to sell me on CC.

I dared you to call me a liar when I said:

Thats pretty typical.....

They did it in 98 and they still have the same tactics......

No wonder they send Will on here to defend them.

Its a shame Will cant be honest about my questions from a few years ago.....

At least I gave hime the benefit of the doubt before, I thought he was just plain stupid.

Now I know thats the not the case, I can only assume he lies.

If you doubt me, read this thread again.
