Ok I have a question, and yes I do host with webair and yes I do have a server in one of those ranges, I am not really concerned as I have been with webair forever and know when they find something like this they always do the right thing but, Webair, you said you contacted the poster and infact I did read you posts over there, but was Lavasoft contacted to affirm webairs position on such matters? I mean obviously this guy knows what he is doing, or atleast it appears that way to an outsider, and may to lavasoft as well.I have no siggy and I want no siggy.. damn no I have one again!Comment

Every host gets flammed by some person who is bored and just wants to start shit. Webair is a direct competior but I could careless. Webair is a respectiable company and Mike is a good guy. Stop the drama bullshit Mike said he will take care of it and I am sure he will.

Are you high or drunk? The issue in this post has been dealt with. Webair posted on the lavasoft site and you can be sure the guy over there will be posting more info as he finds it etc. We can monitor that thread etc. and if webair doesn't respond in a timely manner we can call them to task about it here. But THIS thread is done.
If you have an agenda with Webair outside of what I posted about, then start a different thread. If you have other information, then start a different thread. Bumping this thread is doing nothing but making you appear as an ass and you can be sure I would never signup for the affiliate collition thing if you're involved with it. ...nothing new with webair problems..
found bunch of auto popup and installers on my sites..so loaded up Firefox and reported them to webair...and got a message saying it's probably my fault...
so i opened up internet explorer (without popup blocker) and went to their control panel..and there it was..an nice codec installer popup in their ticket reporting system
...as a reward for reporting their system's error.. currently i'm not allowed to change permissions of my directories...anytime i chmod a directory.. it get reverted to their permissions by the night....
This is the best part... their support left a ticket replying that they would be happy to modify my previously running scripts to accomodate my limited permissions on my space for a price!
Its funny how webair never takes responsibility for their mistakes and blame always gets pointed back to the person reporting an error in their system
so far.. i've hopped thru a few hosting companies.. servage, accuburst,... i guess webair is soon going to be added into that listComment

You are talking about hardcore anti spammers in most cases. From what I hear, if they find one ip bad at a hosting company they block the whole hosting company's ips without blinking an eye. Basically... They think if the host allows 1 person to do it then it is likely there is others doing it and if they block honest porn sites (lol like these people think there is such a thing) in the process they could care less.
Its one thing when its mail but for spyware shit I almost don't blame them for blocking the whole damn company.
Thats why the majority of all my sites are in house, I wouldn't want to be subjected to what "others" are doing a couple class c's over from me at the same hosting company.
