I quit pretty much everything cept cigarettes and mary jane.. And I drink maybe 4 times a year, only up at my cottage or camping. Quitting smoking is definately coming shortly though, just want to make sure I'm ready before taking the plunge and quitting. Pot, i'll probably never cease. It's a great relaxation tool, and helps the creative juices get flowin

I don't drink AT ALL, don't do ANY drugs (never tried pot before in my life) and am basically abstinent. ( I even went through a period where I didn't have sex for 6-7 years, from around age 20-26 or so).

The only thing I get pleasure out of life is being on-line, listening to music, food and sometimes spending money...

I never saw a point on drinking or drugs. I'm superficial and rather spend money on materialistic things people can see. Putting things in your body is not tangible, it's not like a car or something people can see... there's no point to it. What's the point of doing it just "for a feeling"?

I don't like to numb my misery and pain and heartache. I like to feel it and savor it. I like to think that I'm strong enough to endure life's pain and miseries and trust me, I have a lot of miseries. I'm not weak enough to need to numb them. I am used to pain. Give me more.

I am proud of all the pain and misery I am able to endure. It makes me stronger.

off drugs for over 20 yrs it was a problem ,dont drink because really not into the taste and I think from all the dealing with drunks and mopping up throw up as a barboy when I was 18 totally turned me off to booze.

Six and a half years now, and everything is good. I didn't have to become a friend of Bill to do it, but the results are similar.

Watching people go too far and make asses out of themselves at shows pretty much sealed the deal for me.
