How much time should I give a sponsor who is late in paying....?
As a compassionate human being how much time should I give to a sponsor, a fellow human being, who is changing processors and is now starting to be late with their payouts?
I've waited 30 days for the smaller part of the money due .... Now the clock is ticking on the current payout for a larger amount. Should I be patient another day, week, month??? What is right?? |

I remember waiting 2 months for a payment of $10'000 - got paid half, got screwed on the other half. If you think he's taking the piss I say play hard - send him an overdue payment reminder by registered post which states you'll take it too small claims court if payment isn't received within X days.

Have you tried getting into contact with them directly, over ICQ or telephone?
See what the hold up is... maybe they will FedEx you a payment if they notice the issue is still existing. |

I give them all the time they need, at 18% interest. If they don't pay, they get blacklisted. You'd be surprised how many sponsors will overnight you a check and never be late again

If a sponsor is more than a week late I remove all their links, 2 week I go on boards to talk all kinds of crap about them, after a month depending on the amount I might start talking to a attorney, and their processors.

depends on circumstances, amount owed, length of time working with them . . . but 30 days seems a little long

it really depends on the situation, maybe the problem is not in their hands.
But as WG posted above, money is money, credit carries interest. |

I generally just ask them where payment is once its 2 weeks late. I don't want to seem like a chump reacting after a week as I know there are all kinds of delays that could make something a week late.
