Disney for 3 days, which are the best???

I've got a friend coming down from Ireland this week and we are going to Disney for 3 days. Which parks are the best to go to?

Are you talking about Disney World, or one of the other locations? If it's Disney World, there's a lot of different stuff to do in Orlando.

You have to do the Magic Kingdom. After that, it really depends on what you're into.

If you like thrill rides, you need to visit Universal's Islands Of Adventure. They have some of the best thrill rides in the US. And Disney's thrill rides are really pretty tame.

Adults tend to prefer EPCOT for their variety of shops and restaurants. Lots of people spend the daytime at the other parks, and head over to EPCOT in the evening for dinner.

MGM Studios has a few good rides. But most of the attractions are shows. If you're just interested in the rides, you could probably do it in half a day.

Animal Kingdom can be done in half a day, unless you like to linger and see all the animals. There's really only a few rides worth doing. Expedition Everest, the Safari, Dinosaur and Kali River Rapids.

Also consider visiting the two water parks. Blizzard Beach is the newer of the two and has more slides. Typhoon Lagoon has the shark reef and wave pool.

If you friend's looking to do some shopping (since the US dollar is so low), check out the outlet malls. Orlando has some of the biggest outlet malls in the country with everything from The Gap and Old Navy to Versace and Armani.

Check out the WDW Park Updates at MousePlanet for schedules, attraction closures, discounts and special events.

Also, check out MouseSavers.com for discounts on hotels, tickets, car rental, restaurants, etc.

Disney?.. its a fucking $$ trap for tourtists.. surely there are way better things to do in Fla that go to fucking Disney. I went.. it was boring unless you are a kid whose parents are loaded with money .

I would hit Busch Gardens in Tampa before I would give Disney dime. Way more fun!!!

Was in Florida on vacation last year and I'm going back this year.

I loved Animal Kingdom, everest is fucking awesome. All the parks are great, each has a different thing to offer. Busch Gardens is by far the best park tho I think out of all the parks in Florida.

Ok here's the deal.

VERY first thing in the morning go to Aminal kingdom and when it opens walk DIRECTLY to the back of the park, dont stop for shit and get in line for the truck tour to see the animals. You'll be the only one there, *but* the animals are only out for like an hour in the morning and then they all head to the bushes and coves to get out of the sun and stay cool, if you hit it first thing you'll have the best experience.

Then leave the park, animal kingdom is a waste of time and thats the only thing worth going on. Hop a bus or something and head over to Epcot and go on Test Track and Mission Space, then head to the world pavilion and have lunch at one of the lands.

Hop a monorail and spend the rest of the day at Magic Kingdom and have fun

(Ignore MGM unless you're really looking forward to seeing a show like Beauty and the Beast, its a huge timesuck)

Epcot and Animal Kingdom are pretty cool for the experience.

Universal Studios is by far much better if you're into roller coasters.

Beers around the world at Epcot! Universal studios parks are better than Disney. I agree with CIVMatt about animal kingdom. Other than the animal ride that place sucks. Go to Busch Gardens and you will be better off.

I would just stay at a cheap hotel there, and take lots of long cab rides in and out of the park... ;)
