			Hi.

I'm going to be putting some dvd's together very soon, and I would like to know what software is out there for making really cool starting sequances and menus. I am familiar with Premiere Pro and Studio, but they dony offer descent menu making facilites. anybody got any suggestions? Leroy

DVD Studio Pro is what we use for our DVDs. Its menu options are very advanced, and of course you can write the code yourself if you want to.

Mac only, it's part of the FCP studio package. only way to get it is to by the studio package, it's not sold seperately anymore. But f you are going to do real video and DVD production, you should be using a Mac anyway.

DVD-lab PRO is similar, but for Windows. We've used that as well.

Adobe Encore is what I use. Of course, one has to do most of the video editing work in Premiere Pro and the menu design work in Photoshop, then put it all together and set the navigation and other behavior in Encore itself.
