Loads of painkillers is a temporary relief, but get to see Doc to see if he can help, but sometimes, you have to live with back pain, as it is very difficult to manage

I also suffer from bad back pain, especially at night. I now go to massage therapy every other week and (try to) stretch daily.
The massage care really seems to help keep the pain away.

Don't ignore the possibility of kidney stones. I get them and the bigger they get, the worse my back pain gets until I finally go to the Urologist to have them blasted. Back pain disappears almost instantly
