POP 3 email setup HELP!!

Ok, I have a domain registered. I can receive emails with it, but I cannot send, because emails have to be sent through my ISP and they are not providing me with a static IP.

So, to send my emails, I have to setup a POP3 account somewhere else and have the emails sent through that. Yahoo charges 20$ a year for that type of account. Do any of you know of FREE services I can use for this?

Thanks

probably your isp not your host. just make sure you choose to authenticate using the same as you incoming setting.

I don't get why you can't use your ISP's outgoing mail server?

Try to ping your outgoing mail server not telnet, most servers have this blocked from misc. i.p.'s take off your firewall and see if it works then or try to plug right into the router.

Try changing the port in outlook. My ISP (sympatico dsl) does not allow you to send over port 25 using a different email address from their own. I changed to a different port and my host's mailservers work fine now.

Go into your email account properties, click on advanced, then change the port on your outgoing mailserver from 25 to something else.
