so, we're getting a upgrade for our dedicated box

Here's the specs

Dual Xeon 3.0
4 GB ECC Ram
72GB SCSI
10 mbps transfer

$499 monthly, $99 setup.

shoot for better price? good price?

Depends on the back up solution, control panel (managed or not), quality of bandwidth, stability of the business, ect..

hmmm, so far the host have been pretty good. bw is good too and very stable. although we did have our server die once though

yes it is a pretty good price . . . and I would not expect a backup solution with that package. That would be a little extra.

Thats a fair price.

If you were working with us we would come in around $600 for that package. Then again, the network is Level3, Savvis, MCI, and AT&T. 100% Uptime SLA.
