I know, it used to be also that they had to be registered to even see the board, but not anymore. Which is bad because they can learn a lot here.

Seriously the best thing that could happen to this part of the porn industry is to have more input with surfers. Knowing how your customer thinks, feels and needs is the basis you need to sell him something.

You can of course carry on thinking of him as an idiot we have to put up with to make money. But without him you would be where?

I believe thats what forums in your members section or surfer forums are for. GFY is a webmaster forum where ideally webmasters are supposed to trade information. Business secrets are kept here and by opening it up to the public, you're more or less revealing all of our secrets to the surfers.

Its as if a magician had all of his tricks revelealed. Afterwards, his audience wouldn't bite as hard into his show and would eventually stop coming to see him for entertainment no? Hell, they might even start learning magic themselves.

This could happen in adult as well.

Oh no wait, it has! look at the recent flux of surfers pretending to be webmasters that are popping on this board. Fuck, sponsors are even sending them PS3s and shit for pretending to be real webmasters...

Try joining a sponsor, talking to a rep and asking for a free membership to the site to "promote" the sponsor. Then taking all the content and posting it on free sites or boards or wherever the hell they feel like posting it

Did you ever consider this attitude towards a potential customer could harm your efforts to sell to him?

This can be done by any surfer in any number of ways. Plus I'm sure they are not as stupid as you think.

Plus in an industry that focuses so much of it's effort on getting content onto free sites, and paying people to do it, where is the problem? Oh, I forgot it does not have your banner and the freesites will be giving everything away.

Can I just say that if you learn why someone pays $30 for a months supply of porn and not think surfers are thieves you might increase your sales.
