So I was trying to find the torrent for Natural World: Bonobo Missing in Action, a documentary about my favorite primate, when I stumbled upon a scammer you should be aware of. In order to be able to download torrents from the website: http://www.fullreleases.com , the site asks you to sign up for a trial membership to one of hustler?s three sites and then copy and paste the receipt so that they may verify it. Before sending you through their join link, they send you to this fake review site: http://www.xxx-site-reviews.com/specialdeals.php to make their referrals look legit. If they are on the partnership program then I apologize for the false alarm but somehow I doubt it. Hope you didn't lose too much money on that one.

Are you generally allowed to send incentivized traffic to programs if it's rev share? I can't see any reason why not, but when I've asked the few programs I've bothered too, I got no answer.

Besides the general idea that it's a scam? The cb's and refunds and of course the cancel rates are much higher on accounts that do this.

& to add to TheDoc's comments, the complaints (for the service/site or whatever doesn't work) would go to the sponsor.

Also, as a sponsor, the danger of allowing incentive based signups is that they do NOT control what your incentive is - so if the affiliate has a site with illegal images/videos/codes/scripts or whatever, they may be implicated for facilitating the illegal activities by either the law, visa, mastercard or whatever. Therefore, any sponsor that wants to avoid problems with their billing capabilities & the law, will avoid incentive based signups if it is not under their control.

How is a scam? If you were doing it on PPS, yes, it's a scam - they user could signup and cancel and you'd still get your payout. But on rev-share it you get nothing UNLESS the user spends.

Actually, I see where you are coming from, my focus is on camsites whereas you are probably talking about normal join sites.
