Any 4x4 people out there?

Can anyone explain whats up with the suspension on this Toyota FJ Cruiser.
Its this normal for a four wheel vehicle?

Just looks like traction control to me. The vehicle senses the wheels that don't have any traction so it sends power to the other wheels instead to avoid wheelspin.

What do you expect? Trucks and suvs are built for work or offroad these days. They're built so soccer moms don't roll them doing 50mph around a turn.
