I clean my ICQ list every 2-3 months cause ICQ starts acting weird with around 1000 contacts.
I make a new group at the start of the month (jan) then a 2 or 3 later in the month since groups can only hold 200 at a time.

i just have mine sorted by online/offline. if i have to find a contact i just sort by name and from there its pretty easy.

lol i don't wanna spam trillian by i also have approx. 900 icq contacts and it manages them fine.

Haha...I'm fairly new to ICQ too so mine's mostly coworkers. I'm actually not a big fan of ICQ...either it keeps doing things without me telling it to or I'm screwing things up in my sleep
