The doctors are old soviet women, in my resident county. They haven't heard of Xanax here yet. (Or anything, really)

It's -20 C, I'm not willing to go and buy alcohol.

I don't understand the hooker thing, not really interested in pleasuring them.

But thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll try the vegetarian diet for a while.

I think feeling depressed must be part of the natural cycle of living..

I have nothing against vegetarian diets, but it's not going to help you with depression. In fact, it will likely do just the opposite as meat releases those "feel good" endorphins your body naturally produces. Chocolate, exercise, and sex are other natural ways of getting a nice endorphin fix too.
