this facinating new direction was not created to become legal, but rather force same-sex marriage ban into high courts!
Gadow doesn't actually want the initative to pass; he wants to force a challenge of it, which would take the Defense of Marrriage Act into higher courts. I don't know why religious nuts and right wingers have their boxers in a knot over gay marriage. Gay sex freaks them out, but if anything, gay marriage might actually *reduce* promiscuity in the gay community.
It makes no sense. Bigotry is the only explanation.
