XP gurus please

Alright, I'm not sure what happened, but my virus scan came up clean. I click on "start" and the quick menu appears, but no matter long long my mouse sits on Documents or Programs, the second drop-down list never appears. Any ideas?

Please

If you click, does it open? It seems like your hover over has been disabled. Let me know if your able to do it that way.

No, no go.

Now clicking the start button doesn't result in any menu at all. I ran spybot and all it found was some tracking cookies. AdAware didn't find anything unusual. AVG ran clean. sigh.

After a reboot:

My start menu now works properly.

But my Quick launch bar was turned off. Luckily I could turn it back on. Will the fun never end??

Good stuff, glad you got it working.

For Antivirus, Firewall, Phishing, Malware, Spyware, etc... the only software to use is Eset NOD32. http://www.eset.com

Download the free trial. Let me know if you want more info on this.
