I hate AAW, I used to send in 350 clicks per day then they display to all the buyers that my weekly average is 90

...so in other words, no one will buy an ad

Mattz, It sounds like you are talking about the textads program which doesn't display the number of clicks, but displays the number of clicks per ad slot purchased. There may be many ad slots on one site. So if you were sending 350 clicks, but with 4 rotating ad slots, it will show just 90 clicks because that is what that advertiser would receive.

The new clicked traffic as well as the CPM/pop programs are a completely separate service and will not have any misperceived inconsistencies.

I was gonna sign up but then I noticed they require non-US webmasters to send in a w8 form.

They end up on a lot of different clean pages, mostly without any consoles, and there's no adware.

If you are having problems with the W8, Adworld will be happy to help.

AAW used to be good, now they have so much shady shit, and even zango ads, and if you ask for zango and other spyware free tags, they bump your payment done for that... kind of shitty... pay us less for not wanting to fuck over our visitors, and then use shady ass techniques to steal our traffic such as the faked navigation tabs that show up for 90% of the ads

Not Here to Destroy the Universe

We actively work with StopBadware to make sure that all of our direct advertisers are compliant with the legal rules. We do allow legal adware to buy ads on our network, but because of the demand, we have tags with no adware for publishers who do not want to promote those products. The payout is not a set rate to the publisher, it is based on the ads running. All we do for the no adware tags is pull out those advertisers from rotation. They do bid for very high placement so taking them out of rotation will naturally lower the CPM some. We don't actively try to pay you less, the only result of that would be that we lose publishers, which is not our goal.

We are simply a network that sells ads, we are here to work with you and make you more money, not hurt your site.

Sarah

AdultAds: what about those w8 forms? We all know requiring non-US webmasters to send in w8 forms before you pay them is just a scam to hold on to their money.

Hello,

I'm the CEO of Adult AdWorld. I noticed the posts about W8 forms. We're a US corporation, and by law we are supposed to collect a W9 form for US partners and a W8 for international partners. We have to report the income for the US partners to the government at the end of the year, but we do NOT have to report the incomve of the international partners. We DO have to have a record on file that certifies that you are a non-US partner so you do not owe taxes to the US. When (not if) we are audited, we can be fined and have other restrictions placed upon us if we do not maintain these records. Many large, reputable networks require W8s, including Google.

With the current anti-adult climate in the US, I'm not willing to take on any extra risk. When the FBI can send me to jail for five years because my 2257 records are not in alphabetical order, I think it's wise to follow all rules and guidelines my government gives me. If other companies want to take that risk then that's their choice. For now, we require a W8 to certify that we do not have to report the income to the IRS. We do NOT report any information about income to ANY foreign government, however. Whether you report that is your choice.

Although we said we would, we did NOT actually withhold payment this month to partners who did not submit their W8 forms. We were going to but decided against it, although those payments did go out a few days later than the others, but we may in the future. Truthfully, most publishers have been very understanding and have faxed or scanned and emailed the forms as soon as possible. We are providing a service that pays webmasters guaranteed revenue for every ad impression versus for every sale, and we've added other programs to help you monetize your sites in different ways based upon your requests. We are here to help you make money, but we have to to make sure we do not place ourselves at any unnecessary risks. I don't think asking for one form that results in no financial, political, or adminstrative burden is too much to ask.

Respectfully,

Daniel

1. Google does not require W8 forms. I've been getting adsense checks since 2004 and never once had to fill in and fax (or scan and email) a W8 form.
2. W8 forms are not required by US law. A "substitute form" can be used (this could even be a simple webbased form or button. a small example from the google adsense site: "If you do not have U.S. Activities, you will be asked to agree to a statement to that effect. No tax forms are required in this instance.").

I shouldn't even dignify this with a response since you posted after reading only the fucking title. It's up to $4 C P M (That's 1000 [raw not unique clicks] for the n00bs).

Spacekadet does not work for Adult AdWorld. He is a publisher of ours, though, and has referred several other publishers to our service.

The clicked program is paid per 1,000 clicks, and can be delivered via any text link, banner image, etc., that you choose - just not via pops. If you have questions, you can write in to publishers AT adworldmedia.com.

Thanks,
