You don't need a hookup to have it delivered by friday, all good jewelers have overnight shipping. If you are willing to spend on diamond jewelry then whiteflash.com is the best to deal with, for plain gold and silver stuff you can just use bluenile

BTW, I know it sounds cheap, but if you're buying a diamond, Costco has some good prices and last I saw, they were offering you your money back plus 10% if a diamond you bought there appraised for less than what you paid for it by an independent appraiser. Then of course, you have to tell your special someone that you bought them jewelry at Costco, but it really shouldn't matter
