BTW, I know it sounds cheap, but if you're buying a diamond, Costco has some good prices and last I saw, they were offering you your money back plus 10% if a diamond you bought there appraised for less than what you paid for it by an independent appraiser. Then of course, you have to tell your special someone that you bought them jewelry at Costco, but it really shouldn't matter :)
