The tobacco companies would never go for it. Nowhere near as addictive. Plus, you're 'intoxicated' when you smoke pot but just "buzzing" after a cigarette. Add that to the bad connotations after years of illegality, and I suspect brand name pot will never catch on.

Even if they pass, the people that grow will be thrown in jail. The federal government doesn?t stand by these laws. They haven?t and they will not till we legalize it. Think about all the money that is wasted by cops and officials chasing pot smokers. It?s crazy.

People getting caught here in CA recently are just dismissed from court with small fines. Hardly anyone serves jail time for growing weed here. Its been decriminalized.
