The tobacco companies would never go for it. Nowhere near as addictive. Plus, you're 'intoxicated' when you smoke pot but just "buzzing" after a cigarette. Add that to the bad connotations after years of illegality, and I suspect brand name pot will never catch on.

Think of all those mutherfuckers that have been thrown in jail for smoking weed, what a lawsuit they would open themselves up to if they legalized it !!
