Warning to Sponsors - re: Epassporte

I always appreciated the service Epassporte provides. Although their system wasnt perfect and their customer service could have been stronger I supported them whenever i could.

But a series of events in the past week have made my Spidey-senses tingle. I just wanted to warn sponsors to make sure they have physical addresses of all their affiliates in case something where to happen to the Epassporte payment method and affiliate checks have to be mailed instead. Remember how AdultCheck disappeared overnight?

1.
My Epassporte card expired at the beginning of February. I am still waiting for a new card to arrive in the mail. A regular bank usually sends you a new card weeks in advance of the expiration. So in effect I cant go to an ATM right now and access my money. Not good.

2.
One of my sponsors was recieving the error "epassporte ID not found" when trying to send money to me. It may have been a typo on his part but he tried multiple of times after confirming it was correct with me. Not good.

3.
Customer service Phone number is a constant busy signal right now. This is the most worrisome... at least before i could usually get someone on the phone on the first try. Now I havent been able to get through since last Friday. Not good at all.

4.
Withdrawals to my bank account are taking longer. Usually I would have electronic withdrawals from my epassporte account to bank completed within 7 days. Now it seems the length of time has creeped up to 2 weeks. Not sure if its my bank that is extending the time it takes or epassporte but its one more reason to question Epassporte's reliablity.

So after all this I am not trusting Epassporte as much. I am going to withdraw my money asap from my Epassporte acct so I never have a big balance. And I am also going to arrange some direct bankwires from my bigger sponsors instead of going through epassporte.

This all is just my 2 cents. Hopefully Epassporte works these issues out soon.

Please feel free to add your advice/observations and your own experiences. fyi, just on my wat out, I may not reply to any questions directed at me in this thread until later today.

as wonderful as epassporte sounds as a method of getting my checks from sponsors. I would much rather get checks and put them in the bank. If I want money in my epass account I'll put it there.

1) Please check that the address in your account is correct and email me your UserID and I will order a replacement card for you if it has been lost in the mail. Replacement cards are sent about 4 weeks before your current card expires.

2) If you can provide your ID and the sponsors we will gladly look into this, I haven't heard of any similar problems.

3) We are getting a high number of calls we are working on adding and training more staff as quickly as we can.

4) The processor we use for bank withdrawals is experiencing a delay in sending the transfers. We are working with them to get this solved as quickly as possible, the withdrawals are being sent but with a slight delay.

Anyway, i am always trying to withdraw the money i have on e-pass after some problems that my friends had with their money on e-pass.
