Never propperly ventured into PPC (only used adwords for a £40 campaign, once...).

Have you got any tips? What is the best way to learn, without wasting loads!?

all i do is SEM and SEO. If you need some pointers, the best place to honestly learn is through the Google help section. They have some cool things about writing effective ad copy and such.

I agree...if you have the patience to sit down and go through it all, you will definately benefit from it and save money in the long run! Good luck

Make sure the surfer gets what your ad details...

i.e. If you're promoting a site that needs a Credit Card, make that prominent in your ad. If you plaster it with "free" or don't mention the Credit Card, you'll get an assload of spurious clicks from free loaders who aren't willing to whip out the plastic.

yeah, that really bites. i pay them a shit load of money and have a few million thru my MCC and they put up a fight over it
