I understand people dont want to have their name on domains whois like xxx.com for various reasons ;)
What is the best way to do it ? 1. FREE : just fill your registrant whois with false info except contact email from the domain. ex : [email protected] so you are sure if somebody try stole the domain you get the transfer confirmation at least ;) At the end registrants dont seem to care about accurency of the whois info you provide... 2. $$$ : pay domainbyproxy.com or privacypost.com or others ? that will let your info. as fast as sending a fax (from what i read on gfy.com) 3. $$$ : use a pobox 4. others ?

I use NameCheap's WHOIS guard, I wouldn't recommend falsifying your information as that is grounds for suspension (or so I've heard).
