Havent noticed a huge slowdown here at SpunkBucks and PornoPayouts, but I do concur with Steve-

It's probably peoples credit card bills being due right about now. I know my bill that had most of the Holiday expenses on it is due this week- I've always in the past expected people to be kinda busted in late January- I was actually a bit suprised this year that I didnt see more of a downturn, but I guess luck was with me, as it seems the regular post-holiday reckoning is still occurring.

Three days ago I had record day by a considerable margin. In fact through the roof. But of course my pleasure was short lived when yesterday it was pretty mediocre, and today is total shite.

In fact it is so shite today, I came on to gfy to see if anyone else was having a totally crap signups day. And it looks like I am not alone!

I would be more interested to see what billers and programs have to say. My personal feeling is that the toolbar and spyware people, fearing that Vista will screw their business up, are agressively doing sponsor code substitutions on join pages and the like to make money.

Are the sponsors themselves seeing large drops in sales, or is it just affiliates? this week has NOT been good for conversions on anything, including programs that are usually stable and reliable.

thank heavens for rebills, January is normally shit since people are paying bills from December and the kids are not in school for most of the month, it does make it any better but this is how it goes every January in this biz.

Too true about rebills. My site is doing very well. Has for the last three years, but today is a joke. It affects my own signups and of course affiliates.

By the way Busty are you with Rocksolidcolo? I have just moved to them from Marlin. Server was in a right mess but they have sorted out my probs.

You have to remember that 90% of GFY'ers weren't here last year...and 90% of the ones here now won't be here next year.
So most of them are surprised, and will be surprised next year.

FWIW February is always the worst month of the year for me...basically because there's 3 less days to makes sales...but the bills for the month are the same as every other month, so it really sucks.

But the question is this: Are your program sales sluggish, or just affiliate sales? Did your program's overall sales drop by 50%?
